Painting with Eggs??

The weather has been really nice lately, but guess what!? My kids still want to stay inside! They are so obsessed with their tablets and video games that I can hardly get them to do anything else!

Suggesting painting WITH eggs got their attention....hmmmm....We put holes in the eggs and drained them. They thought that was fun, weird and gross, in boy speak, pretty awesome!

We added glitter (I'm a girl, I like glitter!). 

Next, we added some watercolors to each egg and headed outside. It was windy enough that the poster board was held in place while they "painted"

It gave them some much needed OUTSIDE time, got some energy out and they got creative.
