Add a Charming and Unique Element to your Home!

I have been wanting a rain chain for a long time! I have even pinned a few DIY chains on Pinterest. They were all to overwhelming, I just couldn't bring myself to tackle it.

I am so excited to have my copper rain chain up and that dull downspout gone!

The hardest part of installing the rain chain was removing the downspout. As my husband started to unscrew it he discovered that there was a HUGE hornets nest inside the downspout! It had been completely blocking the water flow! It took several hours of spraying the nest and waiting and spraying again before it was finally safe to finish removing the spout.

The chain comes completely assembled and ready to hang!

It is so pretty and looks so great on the house!

I have it hung outside of my screened in porch. When it rains, it is so peaceful and relaxing. I am thrilled with this chain!

Next, I'm going to look into rain barrels. It would be perfect to have the chains deliver the rainwater directly into a cute bucket to be reused in the garden.

Check it out on Amazon by clicking HERE.

I received this product at a promotional discount in exchange for my HONEST and UNBIASED review.

How I transformed a DIY table into a DIY craft table

When I started transforming our front room into an office I realized that there was no room for the art table that I had built for my boys. You see, I had just moved it from their room a few months ago. I had no plans of moving it back. I really (I mean REALLY) like the table.  I had to come up with a plan.

I decided I could probably mount it to the wall. Hopefully.  Without much hesitation, or even much thought, certainly no conversation was had with my hubby, I sawed the legs off. I tend to act on ideas with much impulse and little to no plan. I can't deal with sitting back and analyzing things to death. I'm a doer, damn it!

It all Started with a Disaster of a Garage and a Web Search..

Once upon a time, I was intimidated by all things power tool related. Sure I could use a drill as a  screwdriver but that was the extent of my abilities. Until one magical day when I found Ana White's site. Can you hear the angels singing?  This was the site that I learned that I CAN build.

Ana has great plans that are easy to follow. I started small, my first project was 2x4 shelving in our garage and a bike rack. Check them out, but please don't judge our garage is a steaming hot mess!
