We live in an area with tons of farm land around us. I have never seen a mouse in the house (KNOCK ON WOOD), however, I do know that they have been in our garage. How? Because we keep wild bird food in there and I noticed little nibbles on one corner. Upon that discovery, I was off to Lowe's to pick up a gallon bucket to store the bird food.
I had no intention of dealing with traps. I don't want to deal with mice begging to be unstuck or even worse, a mouse with his neck snapped. EWW - no way!
The Pest Beater just plugs into a typical outlet. It give off ultrasonic sound waves that must make mice crazy, who knows. I plugged ours into an outlet near the dog bowl. We also keep his food there and I don't want any surprises! His food has also been put into a 5 gallon bucket from Lowe's.
I have not seen any evidence of mice, so I have to believe that it is doing it's job!
