All Purpose In Every Sense Of The Phrase - Castile Soap

One of my favorite things about this Castile soap is that it is a huge money saver ~ it virtually pays for itself in the savings you get from not having to buy all the ingredients it replaces: laundry detergent, general household cleaner, toilet cleaner, glass cleaner, pump hand soap refill, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, carpet cleaner, body wash, shampoo, pet shampoo, etc. etc. The uses are seriously amazing.

Directions on the back of the bottle are great too – check them out below

For all-purpose cleaner – ¼ Cup of soap added to 1 quart of water in a spray bottle
For cleaning dishes – ratio of 1:10 in hot water
For clean floors – ½ cup of soap diluted in 3 gallons of hot water
To protect plants- 1 Tbsp soap in 1 quart of water with a dash of cayenne to discourage bugs
To sterilize fruits & veggies – 1 Tsp in a bowl of water to remove pesticides and residue – I used to buy fruit wash that was pricy. Why buy that when I can make this so simply and it costs a fraction of the price.
For soft & smooth skin – one small squirt applied to a washcloth or wet hands.
For smooth, clean shave – lather 5-10 drops on wet hands and apply to desired area.

I made a few foaming hand soaps. Don't throw away those Bath & Body Works foaming hand soap containers when you've run out. Rinse them out and use them in this recipe:
3 tablespoons castile soap
5 drops of your favorite essential oil (I tried lavender and a blend of thieves oil with peppermint). Both came out smelling amazing
Fill up the remainder of the bottle with distilled water.

And for a small percentage of what you would've paid for foaming hand soap, you've just made your own. You will notice it will initially foam but won't continue to as you wash your hands. That's from the lack of sodium laurel sulfate....it helps make suds but also dries out your skin.

You can check it out on Amazon, this stuff is a great deal!!

I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.
