I have boys that require a sharp point. If the pencil becomes dull, which it does constantly because the press down so incredibly hard that the point retreats in defeat instantly..If the pencil becomes dull everything must stop and the pencil must be sharpened. You have to get up pretty much in the middle of the day to get things over on me!
I have no fewer than 10 pencils on hand and ready to write at all times.
What's my point? We have been through a few electric sharpeners. I have NEVER used one like this!
This sharpener is crazy powerful! It saws through the pencil like a chainsaw on butter.
Typically, when I have sharpened a pencil in an electric sharpener, you have to sot of turn the pencil against the blade as its sharpening. If you don't you end up with a lopsided point. That is completely unacceptable! This sharpener does all the work for you and it does it fast! It knows when to stop too!! Your pencil gets sharpened perfectly! Its a thing of beauty.
Its relatively quiet.
It has suction cups on the bottom. It really grabs onto the tabletop.
It has 6 sizing options. I'm not sure why, I think I have only seen 2 different size pencils.
The waste bin is large, which I love. I do not love seeing shavings sprinkled through the house on the way to the trashcan by my little "helper".
