I have always wanted a Mortar and Pestle.
My mom had one when I was little. I remember her grinding herbs and spices that we had grown in the garden. This is a beautiful polished real marble mortar and pestle. I love the look of it on my black counter.
It is really heavy about 4lbs total and quite large.
The inside of the bowl is rough to assist in the grinding.
The bowl fits perfectly in your hand as you work.
