Great Sun Hat

My hubby has been looking for a hat to wear while cutting the grass. This one seemed perfect!

It has a nice wide brim that is flexible.  It has vents nearly all the way around. It is a very light material. It will even protect your head from UV Rays  up to UPF50! Its water resistant.

It seemed to have everything he wanted and then some!

When we received the hat we were thrilled. It looks great. Has everything they said it would.

Hubby went to slip it on. Guess what...TOO SMALL! He can't get it on at all.

On the up side, it does fit my 8 year old. He likes it and is fair skinned so he needs it!

Excellent Cotton Table cloth!

I absolutely love this table cloth.

It fits well on my kitchen table that seats 6, but I am sure it would also fit a table that seats 8.


I have the green one but it comes in several different colors.

The color is bright and crisp. I have washed it in cold water and the color has not faded a bit.

The seams are well stitched and the material is surprisingly thick. It is 100% cotton. It is easy to wipe clean.

This table cloth would also work great outdoors since it is so easy to clean!

Keurig can Kiss my Hiney!

The first thing I did after ordering my Keurig 2.0 was start a search for reusable filters. I think the KCups are crazy overpriced and refused to buy them. But now they had me by the b***s, didn't they? Because guess what I found out? There were none!  I was stuck for months buying the special KCup coffee. I really pissed me off!

Until now!! Woo Hoo!

This set comes with 5 reusable filters. I only need one, but hey now I won't have to wash it every time I want a cup!

It also comes with 100 paper filters. I haven't used the paper filter with mine. I haven't had any issue with grinds in my coffee, so its all good.

These cups can be used with both the 1.0 and 2.0. That's awesome!

Throw pillows make me happy

I recently put in a window seat. This pillow was the perfect addition!


I love the way it looks. Every time I walk into the room it catches my eye.

It is the perfect size. Since it is so neutral it can really go in any room.

The zipper is perfectly hidden. The opening was large enough that I was able to put a standard size down pillow inside. The zipper closed with ease.

The pillow itself is very well made. I'm sure we will have it around for a very long time.

Hen Picked is a favorite with my girls!

I love the name of these mealworms. So cute!

I know that my girls need protein. These meal worms are a great source.  I have considered live mealworms, but ewww.

The wormies are all really big. I haven't  noticed any crunched up bits.  I like that the bag reseals.

When I went outside with this bag of mealworms my chickens and ducks were curious. I shook the bag and everyone came running.

They were pushing each other out of the way to get to the worms! I couldn't put them down fast enough. They would have certainly been happy to eat the entire bag at once.

This is the coolest lantern I have ever seen! My kids are really into it too.

Closed, the light on top has a low and a bright setting. Let me tell you, that sucker is BRIGHT!

When you pop it open, it looks like a typical camping lantern. How cool is that!?
