Why I monitor my big kids with a surveillance camera...

I NEEDED a security camera.

Why? 

I don't have a baby and we haven't had any issues with break ins. (knock on wood)

I do, however, have two boys that share a room. I discovered some things moved around on Liam's dresser. It was odd because neither of them can reach the top of his dresser.

I asked Logan (he is 8) what happened here? He told me he didn't know and went on to say that it had always been like that! WOW!


I asked Liam (he's 5) the same thing. He said that they had been climbing up onto his dresser and jumping over onto Logan's bed. Then he added, very causally, "you know like superheros!"

WOW!

 I knew that they needed CLOSE surveillance. 

This baby monitor by Snug is beyond anything I could have imagined! I control it from an app on my phone.

I can pan around the room and up and down.

The picture is color and it also has night vision.

I can hear everything going on and I can talk to them!

It even has an alarm setting. I can set it to sound an alarm if there is movement and control the sensitivity. It will also record automatically if there is movement.

This thing is great! 

My only complaint is that the app runs constantly in the background on my phone which drains the battery.
