Our Wii U is difficult for my 5 year old to control. The controllers are a point and move with your hand kind of thing. It is frustrating for me sometimes to get things where they are suppose to be.I was really excited to find out that there was a standard joystick controller. It is very similar to the controllers for the Xbox.
Setting it up was really quick and easy. I charged it overnight with the included USB cable. The back of the controller has a red connect button. You just hold it down while the Wii is in the set up mode to connect the new controller with the Wii U. That's it your all set up to play.It is definitely easier to control with this controller.
I have been very happy with this controller and would definitely recommend it.
