Drip Irrigation Revived my Garden!

I have a sad sad little raised bed garden. Yes, its sad, but it's MINE and I love it! 
I was sad because this spring I planted everything too soon. I jumped the gun. I was just so eager to enjoy the fresh warm juicy tomatos!  I planted at the end of March. I thought I was safe. Then WHAM-O we had two nights of nearly 20 degrees! Yeah, that was the end of those tomato plants!
What is a girl suppose to do? DUH! Replant! So, I did. Everything looked like crap after a few weeks.
I had a timer set up to water everything twice a day, but it was all dying!
I found out about this drip irrigation kit. It is under $15 on Amazon. Something had to be done to safe my crops!  So I ordered it. I had high hopes.
I was so excited when the package arrived two days later! I tore it open like a little kid on Christmas morning. I ran out to install it right then! I even forgot that I was cooking dinner, oops! We ended up with sandwiches that night. But it was SO worth it!
Installing the entire thing took about 25 minutes. It was really easy and I was so excited to find that I had NO leaks!
My only complaint is that I didn't know that I should have spaced the drippers with fewer at the beginning. I found that by spacing everything evenly the water pressure wasn't able to force much to the drippers at the end. To remedy this I closed off a couple near the beginning to provide more push for the drippers at the end.
Overall, I am thrilled! Everything in my garden is doing great! What more could I ask?

Don't settle for regular water!

Everyone everywhere is talking about fruit infused water. 

Its so delicious. Its so healthy. Its so easy!

I wanted to experience it for myself! Know what I discovered? It REALLY is all of those things!
I got my bottle by Kuuk and I love it! It is sleek and fits perfectly in my hand. The rubber grips make it even easier to hold and keep my fingertips from freezing.
The lid pops down over the top so that I'm not putting a dirty tip in my mouth, EWW!
The infuser is where the magic happens! The parts of the bottle come apart and you put your fruit in and seal it all back up. Pop it in the fridge for a few hours and when you return.....yummy fruity goodness!

I added strawberries and lemon to mine. It was pretty darn incredible. 
My only problem with this whole fruit infusion thing, now I have to keep fresh fruit in the house at all times!

Long Luscious Lashes

All of us ladies want long luscious lashes. At least that is what the commercials have been trying to drill into my brain since as long as I can remember.
I have fallen prey to the cosmetics companies and I am convinced that I need to lengthen my lashes.
Lucky for me there are options available to make this happen! WOOHOO!
Uptown Cosmecueticals Stem cell Lash Growth Serum claims to increase lash thickness and length by 25% in just two weeks. I have been using it for a week and I do think they have filled in some. I'm not sure about the length.
They claim a 75% increase in length and thickness in six weeks.
Its crazy that just by applying this serum to the base of your lashes they will increase that much!
The serum is easy to apply and is odorless. It doesn't burn or irritate my eyes at all.

Colorful and Reuseable Popsicle molds

What kid doesn't love ice pops in the summer!?

Mine REALLY do! They also like making their own creations. 
I was really excited to find these silicone Popsicle ice molds by Kuuk.
They come in 4 super bright colors. My kids love that because of course everyone has their favorite color.
We searched Pinterest looking for a recipe with watermelon. We made watermelon lemonade ice pops.
They were really easy to fill. I had the boys hold them and I filled them. We popped the lids on and stood them up in the freezer.
A few hours later - frozen goodness that they were proud to enjoy because they had made them!

My Yoga Wheel and I are forming a bond.

I have terrible posture and my back hurts most of the time. Which came first? Who knows! 
I started reading about this yoga wheel for improving posture and eliminating back pain. I figured I'd give it a try!
I'm no yoga guru, so I didn't really know what to expect with regard to the size of this wheel. let me tell you, it is WAY smaller than I expected! It stands under my knees! I looked at it and thought, yeah, that ain't happenin!
Then I looked at it some more. I decided that it was not going to defeat me before I'd ever tried it out!
I was surprised that I was able to roll my back across it and actually get into a back bend! 
The wheel is very well padded. It didn't look like it, but to use it was very comfortable.
My kids both enjoy using it and stretching out on it.

It is very solid and I'm sure will be around here for a long time. 
I was impressed that something so small and lightweight could be so sturdy.

Burger Perfection!

Around here, we eat a lot of burgers, especially in the summer!

This press truly could not be easier! 

You just plop the meat in there put the lid on and press the entire surface down. Remove the top to reveal seven perfectly portioned and formed burgers ready for the grill!
No more balling up ground beef in your hands and forming each burger individually! I love that!!
Being able to form 7 burgers so effortlessly is such a time saver! I buy HUGE things of meat at Sam's Club and generally just separate it and freeze the balls of meat. With this press, I am preparing 14 burgers and freezing them so anytime we need a quick and easy meal we are all set!

Such an Awesome Cooler!!

This may be one of the nicest coolers I have seen!

It is pretty large and holds 24 cans easily. Fortunately, the makers thought to put handles on the sides of the cooler. It SO much easier to carry with the handles when its full!
It has the top zipper opening to get drinks out without letting out too much cold.

I love the large pockets on the front. They are really big and can easily hold napkins or silver wear. There is also mesh pockets on the sides which is great for keys or a cell phone or a book.
It is very well made and feels really solid. The stitching is heat welded to prevent leaks.
It collapses down almost flat.

The Electric Candle that Smokes!

I love candles. I love the way they look and the way they make the house feel when they are burning.
I was really excited about getting to test out a flickering battery operated LED candle.
It looks great. Right out of the box, the candle looks and feels like real wax. It comes with a remote control.
There are three settings, Off, On and timer.
I put the 2 D batteries in. There is no indication how the batteries are suppose to be installed. I guessed that one would be positive up and the other negative up.
I sat the candle to "on" and sat it on the counter. It lit up and I walked away. I came back to the smell of something electric burning. The candle was smoking. 
I turned it off and removed the batteries. I am bummed!
