Every Dad could use another watch!

Every guy I know has a thing about watches. I don't know what it is about watches, it must be like girls and shoes.

Anytime I see a nice looking watch that is on sale ("on sale" was the key) I pick it up for my hubby.  This watch is very reasonably priced. Right now its under $20 on Amazon! It definitely does not LOOK or FEEL like a cheap watch.

I realized that of all the watches that he owns, none have a brown band. This one is really nice looking with a brown leather band. 

It has a large round display with rose toned gold trim and accents on a white dial.

This is a great everyday watch. It is light weight and comfortable.

WHY hasn't anyone told me about Biotin before!?

I am so excited to learn about biotin supplements. I have never heard of it before and I am AMPED about all of the awesome benefits that come from this one supplement!

My nails are a mess! The ones that do grow are thin and peel. It is a freak show!

Dad ALWAYS needs a new belt!

I was impressed from the start with this leather belt.

It came wrapped in tissue and curled in a really nice tin gift box. 

The belt is just under 1.5 inches thick. The leather is really soft with a cross grain leather with a matte finish. 

The buckle is solid it feels heavy and is polished nickel. 

The belt is simple and classic. It looks great with dress pants or a pair of jeans.

This would make a great gift for any guy, you really can't go wrong with this belt!

Lets get the Painting Started!!

Painting is a great way to relax and unwind. I enjoy following along with an instructor to create something I never would have been able to do on my own.

I like having canvases on hand in case the urge strikes. Really, more like if the moment presents itself. I would paint or draw everyday if I had the time.

This 6 pack of canvases is great! Now, if I want to paint I can prop one up for either or both of the kids and they can create a masterpiece along with me! 

I was nervous about opening them and having the extras get ruined. I was relieved when I unwrapped them to find that each canvas is individually wrapped. Crisis averted!

Thicken and Lengthen Your Eyelashes

I have short thin eyelashes, so when I had the chance to test out an eyelash serum, I was all over it!!

I have never used anything like this before. It has a super thin soft pointed applicator. I used it as directed, twice a day applying it to the eyelid at the eyelash line. It is very easy to apply. and goes on very smoothly.  It did feel a bit strange and I was concerned about it getting into my eyes.  

I have only been using it for 9 days and I honestly can't see any difference at this point. I do plan to continue using it until the bottle is empty. The company says that it is a 30 day supply. They also state that lashes will become thicker, healthier and longer in about 3 - 4 weeks.

I LOVE my new Jeweled Gel Pens!!

I love gel pens. They glide across the paper so smoothly. They seem to write on their own. 

This set of jewelescent gel pens goes a set further by giving them a shiny jeweled look. 

They are beautiful! 

There are 48 glorious gel pens in this set! The options seem endless in this set! There is your classic blues and blacks. Then we get fancy with glittery colors like gold and silvery. Of course your neon and pastels. But what really rocked my world? The swirl colors! WHAT!!?? Yes, they are so cool, as you write you can see the colors transition from one to the next.

They dry super fast, almost as quickly as you put it on the paper.

They do come in a stack of four trays. I suppose you could store them in there but I dumped mine in a box. I like to be able to get my hands on the one I need quickly and easily. I also need to be able to get them put away quickly and easily!

Portion Control Just got Simpler!!

This is such a great set of containers for portion control!! 

They are color coded - brilliant!

• Green is for veggies = 1 cup
• Purple is for fruit = 1 cup
• Red is for proteins  = 3/4 cup
• Yellow is for carbs = 1/2 cup
• Blue is for healthy fats = 1/3 cup
• Orange is for nuts seeds and dressings = 2 tbsp

Honestly, it makes controlling what you eat simple! Keeps things in perspective when you can easily see and control how much of each category your packing.

In addition to how fabulous they are for portion control, the colors are super bright and cheerful! I love the colors!

These containers are BPA free, DEHP free and dishwasher and microwave safe!

The seals are great, no need to worry about spillage!


This is also a great set for packing the kiddos lunches. They are the perfect size for their lunchboxes.

Therapy? NAH, I've got my colored pencils, I'm good!

I enjoy drawing and coloring with my kiddos. Its such a relaxing and calming activity. 


When I saw this set by US Art Supply, I had to have it!

This is an artist grade colored pencil set with 50 pencils!  It induces a plastic carrying case which I'm not all that into. Its just to big and hard to deal with so I dumped the pencils in a box for easier access and storage. 

These pencils come sharpened. The colors are awesome! Since they are wax-based colors they are very bold.

Overall, this is a great set with tons of variations in shades an color choices. 

These are great for the kiddos and the big kiddos!
