Outstanding Arctic Animal Set!

My 5 year old son is really into animals. He will spew facts about the endangered pangolin or one of the many species of lemur.

He plans to become a scientist and a veterinarian. Yep, I'm proud! 

I try to encourage his interest in animals any chance I get. When I saw this awesome 44 piece polar set, I knew he would be in love!

I was thrilled when we received the set by the quality of the figures. They are very solid. Some sets have hollow figures and are even bendable. 

We have had a great time playing with the animals. There are baby penguins and two adults as well as adult polar bears and babies. 

There are several different types of Arctic whales. Since I didn't know what each of them were, he insisted that we look them up. We read about each one and watched some videos to learn even more.

This set is great for any child, but for those kiddos like mine, they will be thrilled and their imagination will go wild!


One of my favorite parts of this set is the carrying case! I don't mind them dumping the animals all over the floor 10 minutes before dinner because I know they are easily picked up and put away.

Great Tool to Assist with Stretches!

I have been getting into Yoga and working on stretching. 

I quickly realized just how little flexibility I have! That was shocking!

I found out about Yoga straps and how helpful they are to a newbie.
I had no idea how to get started with them. I found this site How To Use A Yoga Strap, she breaks down several poses and the proper way to get a good stretch.
 
This strap is very durable and easy to get started working.

The strap definitely provides me the ability to perform stretches I wouldn't be able to otherwise. It is increasing my flexibility much quicker than I would be able to without the strap.
