This great looking umbrella has a leather handle and auto open and close! With just the push of a button this umbrella can open and close in seconds!

Awesome iPhone bundle!

I have finally moved from Android to Apple. That means the next thing to purchase is a cover to protect that investment.
I found this really great bundle on Amazon. 
It comes with a tempered glass screen protector. It was really easy to put on and a perfect fit.
It also has a transparent back that doesn't cover the iPhone design. But if you do want to cover the phone itself, you can print out your favorite picture and put it inside this case! Boom - personalized phone cover that you can change everyday if you wanted to!
My favorite part of this set is the bumper. Thats where my phones take the most abuse. This bumper wraps around the phone over the clear case. That gives the phone double protection!

It also comes with a really nice charging cable. The case wrapping it is a denim material.
There is also an extra long 23" lanyard that clips to the phone. I'm not using it right now, but it is a great option to have on hand.

Your Wrists need a Rest!

Having a wrist rest for typing has gotten to be a requirement!
I haven't had a wrist pad for a while. I think it got thrown out when we moved a few years ago. Now that I am typing regularly, I started noticing my wrist hurting. I know, I know, old age, right? Lets play nice!
I had completely forgotten about the wrist pad and how much it relieved my wrist pain, until I started using one again.
Within a few days, the pain that had been almost constant had completely gone. 
The pain had gotten to the point that I could only stand to type for a short bit before needing to rest. 
Its hard to believe that such a small investment could make such a huge difference!
Cushion Care has really made a great product. The pad is squishy and filled with gel which makes it really comfortable. The mouse pad seems slightly large, which I actually prefer.

Bentonite Clay has Amazing Benefits!

Sodium Bentonite clay has amazing healing benefits.

This clay has electromagnetic properties which make it very absorbent and helpful for drawing out metals and toxins. Because of this Bentonite clay is most effective if it doesn't come in contact with metal before use. Mix it with wood in a plastic or glass bowl for best results.
Here are a few of my favorite recipes:

Basic Clay Mask Recipe - Feel rejuvenated and increase circulation in your face

• 1-3 tsps clay
• 1-3 tsp apple cider vinegar or water
• Non-metallic bowl and spoon for mixing.

Mix until chunky consistency. Apply to the face with fingers. Relax and leave the mask on for about 20 - 30 minutes. You will start to feel a tingly sensation on your skin, the clay is at work absorbing the trace minerals. Around 15 minutes the clay will start to dry. Rinse the mask before it starts to flake into a hard shell.

Clay Mask Hair Detox

• 1 cup brewed herbal tea or water
• 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
• 3/4 cup clay
• 10 drops of your choice of essential oil

Let the tea cool and strain it out. Pour the tea and apple cider vinegar into your bowl. Add the clay and mix until it is the consistency of yogurt. Add in your oils. You can store it in an air tight container for up to a week.  To Use: wet hair and massage a handful of the mixture into the hair starting at the roots and working you way down until the hair is coated. Leave on for 5 - 20 minutes but do not let it dry. Rinse with warm water.

Clay Toothpaste

• 1/4 cup clay
• 3/8 cup boiling water
• 1/4 tsp real salt
• 15 - 25 drops Stevia
• 10-12 drops peppermint essential oil
• 4 - 6 drops tea tree oil

Mix everything together and taste a bit with you fingertip. Add more oil or stevia depending on your taste. Storing in a small glass mason jar works well, because you can dip the tip of your brush right in.

Don't Worry - Be Hippie!

This is a really cool stainless steel flask.

Maxam is currently selling this flask for under $10 on Amazon. They have several different designs available.
Each flask holds 8 oz. We did test it out and did not notice any leaks.
The design has held up well to washings. I have not put it in the dishwasher because I'm not sure that it is dishwasher safe.
If you have a peace lovin' hippie in your life, this would make a great gift!
